Fiesta Blanca (El Salón Beach)

Nerja's big municipal beach party at Playa El Salón, usually on 14 August from 21:00. Everyone dresses in white, with DJs, live acts, light shows, a photocall and an Ibiza vibe. Recognised as a Fiesta de Interés Turístico Local since 2019; 2025 was the 16th edition. Open-air beach party; bad weather or heavy swell can force the council to postpone it (in 2024 it moved to 30 August).

It's advisable to arrive on foot if staying nearby, and the festivities usually become lively from 9 PM onwards, continuing late into the night. It is an open-air event, so check the weather forecast, as postponements due to adverse conditions have occurred in previous years.
